Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering, shipping, and building your dream outdoor kitchen.

Ordering & Payment

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our catalog, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You can create an account to save your information for future orders, or check out as a guest. If you need help selecting the right products for your outdoor kitchen, don't hesitate to contact us — we're happy to walk you through the options.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). For large orders or full outdoor kitchen builds, contact us to discuss additional payment arrangements.

Can I get a quote for a complete outdoor kitchen?

Absolutely! Call our team at 813-875-EGGS (3447)

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel an order. Since many items ship directly from the manufacturer, processing begins quickly. The sooner you reach out, the more likely we can accommodate changes. Once an item has shipped, modifications are no longer possible and our return policy applies.

Do you offer price matching?

We strive to offer competitive pricing on all of our products. If you find a lower advertised price from an authorized dealer on an identical, in-stock item, contact us and we'll do our best to match or beat it. The item must be the same brand, model, and condition, and the competitor must be an authorized retailer.

Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping on most items within Florida. Oversized items such as grills, islands, and large refrigeration units ship via LTL freight at no additional charge. We do not ship to all locations at this time.

How are large items delivered?

Large items (grills, outdoor islands, refrigerators, etc.) ship via LTL freight on a full-size truck equipped with a lift gate. Here's what to expect:

  • Curbside delivery — The driver will lower items to ground level at the end of your driveway or closest accessible point.
  • Delivery appointment — The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window.
  • Accessible address required — Your delivery location must be accessible to a full-size truck. If access is limited, let us know ahead of time so we can help with arrangements.
  • Inspect before signing — Always inspect packaging for visible damage before signing the bill of lading. Note any damage on the paperwork and take photos.

You are responsible for moving items from the delivery point to your final installation location. We recommend having a helper available for heavy items.

How long does shipping take?

Most in-stock items ship within a few business days. Standard delivery times after shipment:

  • Small parcel (UPS/FedEx): 3–7 business days
  • LTL freight (large items): 5–14 business days, depending on your location and carrier scheduling and delivery coordination.

Some items ship directly from the manufacturer and may have longer lead times. We'll notify you of any expected delays when you place your order.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. For freight shipments, you can use the provided tracking number on the carrier's website to monitor delivery status. If you ordered multiple items, they may ship separately from different warehouses — you'll receive tracking for each shipment.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Products are carefully packaged for every order, but damage can occasionally occur in transit. If your item arrives damaged:

  • Note it on the bill of lading before signing (for freight deliveries)
  • Take photos of the packaging and damage immediately
  • Contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photos
  • Keep all packaging materials — the carrier may need to inspect them

We'll work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, whether that means a replacement or a refund.

Will my order arrive in multiple shipments?

Possibly. Since we work with multiple manufacturers, items in the same order may ship from different locations on different timelines. You'll receive separate tracking information for each shipment. If you're building a complete outdoor kitchen, we recommend ordering everything at once so we can coordinate delivery timing as much as possible.

Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on most items within 30 days of delivery, provided the product is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition. To initiate a return, contact us with your order number. Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
  • Custom or special-order items may not be eligible for return.
  • A restocking fee may apply to certain large or freight items.

Contact us before returning any item so we can provide a return authorization and instructions.

How do manufacturer warranties work?

All products we sell are backed by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty coverage varies by brand.

As an authorized dealer, your purchase qualifies for full manufacturer warranty coverage. For warranty claims, contact the manufacturer directly or reach out to us and we'll help connect you with the right support team.

Are you an authorized dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized dealer for every brand we carry. This means every product you purchase comes with the full manufacturer warranty and is guaranteed to be genuine, brand-new, and factory-sealed.

Where can I find replacement parts?

Contact us with your product model number, and we'll help you locate the right replacement parts through the manufacturer. Many common parts such as burners, cooking grates, igniters, and heat plates are readily available. If the part is covered under warranty, we'll help you navigate the warranty claim process.

Product Compatibility & Selection

How do I know which accessories fit my grill?

Compatibility depends on your grill's brand and size. Our product pages display compatibility information when available.

  • Insulated jackets must match your grill's exact brand and model — a Blaze jacket won't fit a Lynx grill.
  • Grill covers are sized to your grill dimensions and are usually brand-specific.
  • Side burners, doors, and drawers from the same brand will match aesthetically, but don't need to be the same brand as your grill to function.

If you're unsure about compatibility, contact us with your grill model and we'll confirm what fits.

What cutout dimensions do I need for a built-in grill?

Every built-in grill has specific cutout dimensions provided by the manufacturer. You'll find these in the product specifications on each product page and in the manufacturer's installation manual.

Important: Always use the exact dimensions from the manufacturer spec sheet for your specific model — not approximate sizes. Even small variations between brands can affect fit.

Can I mix different brands in my outdoor kitchen?

Yes, you can mix brands, but there are a few things to consider:

  • Finish matching — Stainless steel finishes can vary between brands. Staying within one brand ensures a consistent look.
  • Insulated jackets — These must match your grill brand and model exactly, regardless of your other components.
  • Functional compatibility — Doors, drawers, refrigerators, and other components from different brands will work together functionally, even if finishes differ slightly.

For the most cohesive look, we recommend sticking with one brand for visible components. Our Solution Builder makes it easy to shop by brand for a matched kitchen.

What's the difference between built-in and freestanding grills?

Built-in grills are designed to be installed into a permanent outdoor kitchen island or counter. They offer a professional, custom look and are typically larger with more cooking power. They require a non-combustible surround and proper ventilation.

Freestanding grills sit on their own cart and can be moved around. They're great if you want flexibility or aren't ready to commit to a permanent outdoor kitchen yet.

Many grill models are available in both configurations. If you start with a freestanding grill, you can often purchase just the grill head later and convert to a built-in setup when you're ready to build your island.

Outdoor Kitchen Planning

How do I get started building an outdoor kitchen?

Start with the basics and build from there:

  • 1. Choose your grill — This is the centerpiece. Decide on size (32", 36", or 42") and fuel type (natural gas or propane).
  • 2. Select your island or surround — Options range from prefabricated islands to custom-built masonry or steel frame construction.
  • 3. Add components — Side burners, access doors, storage drawers, refrigeration, sinks, and more.
  • 4. Plan utilities — You'll need a gas line and possibly electrical and plumbing depending on your setup.

Our Solution Builder guides you through this process step by step, showing only compatible products based on your grill selection. It's the easiest way to ensure everything fits and matches.

What materials should I use for my outdoor kitchen island?

Your outdoor kitchen island must be built from non-combustible materials. Common options include:

  • Steel stud framing with cement board — Lightweight, durable, and the most popular choice for custom builds
  • Concrete block (CMU) — Very strong and weather-resistant
  • Natural stone or brick veneer — Applied over a structural frame for a premium look
  • Stucco finish — Applied over cement board for a clean, modern appearance

Never use wood framing directly around grills or heat-producing appliances. If you have any combustible materials in your island structure, you'll need insulated jackets for your grill and other heat-producing components.

Does my outdoor kitchen need to be covered?

A cover isn't strictly required, but it's highly recommended to protect your investment. Options include:

  • Pergola or pavilion — Provides shade and weather protection while keeping the space open
  • Covered patio extension — The best protection from rain and sun
  • Individual appliance covers — At minimum, use fitted covers on your grill and other exposed appliances when not in use

Exposure to rain, sun, and humidity will shorten the lifespan of your equipment over time. Even marine-grade stainless steel benefits from being covered.

What ventilation and clearance do I need?

Proper ventilation is critical for safety and performance. General guidelines:

  • Rear clearance: Minimum 6" from any combustible surface (check your grill's spec sheet for exact requirements)
  • Side clearance: Typically 6"–12" on each side
  • Overhead clearance: At least 36"–48" above the cooking surface to any overhead structure
  • Ventilation openings: Your island enclosure needs ventilation to allow heat and gas to escape — most insulated jackets have built-in ventilation

Always refer to the manufacturer's installation manual for exact clearance requirements for your specific model. Local building codes may have additional requirements.

Do I need natural gas or propane?

Both work great — the choice depends on your setup:

  • Natural gas — Connects to your home's gas line. Unlimited fuel supply with no tanks to refill. Requires a gas line run to your outdoor kitchen (hire a licensed plumber/gas fitter).
  • Liquid Propane (LP) — Uses refillable tanks. More flexible placement since no gas line is needed. You'll need to swap or refill tanks periodically.

Most grills are available in both natural gas and propane versions. Make sure to order the correct fuel type — they are not interchangeable without a conversion kit, and converting may void the warranty.

Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my stainless steel grill?

For regular maintenance:

  • After every cook: Burn off residue by running the grill on high for 10–15 minutes, then brush grates with a stainless steel grill brush.
  • Weekly: Wipe down exterior surfaces with warm soapy water or a stainless steel cleaner. Always wipe with the grain of the steel.
  • Seasonally: Deep clean by removing grates, heat plates, and burners. Clean grease trays and check burner ports for blockages.

Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or chlorine-based products — they can damage the stainless finish. A light coat of stainless steel polish after cleaning helps protect against fingerprints and water spots.

How do I prevent and handle flare-ups?

To prevent flare-ups:

  • Keep grill grates clean — grease buildup is the #1 cause
  • Trim excess fat from meats before grilling
  • Don't overload the grill with high-fat foods
  • Keep a spray bottle of water nearby for small flare-ups

If a flare-up occurs: Move food away from the flame, close the lid to cut off oxygen, and let it die down. Never use water directly on a grease fire. Keep a fire extinguisher accessible near your outdoor kitchen at all times.

How should I winterize my outdoor kitchen?

If you live in a climate with freezing winters:

  • Grill: Give it a thorough deep clean, cover with a fitted cover
  • Refrigeration: Empty and unplug outdoor refrigerators and ice makers. Leave doors slightly ajar to prevent mold
  • Plumbing: Shut off water supply and drain all lines to prevent freezing and burst pipes
  • Propane: Disconnect and store tanks upright in a ventilated area
  • Covers: Use fitted appliance covers on all components

Many people grill year-round, even in cold climates. Just be aware that your grill will use more fuel in cold weather and may take longer to preheat.
